Hai ppl!
Before first-timers go to Walt Disney World, they want to read up on the rides so they make sure they have the best time. Here are the top five best and top five worst rides at the Walt Disney World Resort (according to me).
Must-Do Rides:
5: it's a small world- Being one of the most popular attractions at the park, the calm boat ride deserves to be on this list. Sure, the theme song might get stuck in your head, but it's a relaxing way to end your day at the Magic Kingdom.
4: Toy Story Midway Mania- This ride takes you back to the classic arcade days with your favorite characters from the Toy Story movies. This is a very popular ride and often has a long wait, so be sure to get a FastPass. Note: there is a slight chance of your shooter getting stuck. This happened to a family member when I went.
3: Kali River Rapids- Located in Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids is a thrilling water raft ride, that will guarantee to get you wet, and maybe even soaked! This ride is definitely one of my favorites, and it's a must-do for first timers.
2: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- This family roller coaster is in Frontierland, Magic Kingdom. With a few small bumps and drops, Thunder Mountain is a pretty easy coaster, even though it's "the wildest ride in the wilderness!"
1: Test Track: Located in EPCOT, Test Track is a very fast-paced ride that brings you to speeds of about 65 miles per hour. Before the ride, you design your car, and take it for a test drive on the ride. Note: This ride often has long waits, so be sure to get a FastPass.
Rides to Avoid (in no specific order)
-The Jungle Cruise (Adventureland, Magic Kingdom): This ride has a ridiculously long wait for an attraction filled with animatronic animals (not real ones) and cringey jokes.
-Primeval Whirl (Dinoland USA, Animal Kingdom): I've never been on this ride, and I never want to. I'm not a huge fan of spinny rides, leading us up to our next ride to skip.
-Mad Hatter's Teacups (Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom): Honestly, I think this ride would be even worse than Primeval Whirl, because you're spinning the whole time.
-Stitch's Great Escape (Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom): This is coming from a hardcore Stitch lover, so it's probably bad. As much as I love Stitch, I don't want to be in the dark and suddenly have him touching me.
-Frozen Ever After (Norway Pavilion, EPCOT): Honestly, I don't know why this ride has 90 minute waits. It's exactly like Maelstrom, but with frozen characters. The ride broke down alot when it first opened, due to the demand of the public, so Disney should have just waited before opening the ride.
That's all I have for you guys today. See ya real soon!
